Fun times

So, this morning my Spanish 3 class did not officially meet. This means I got to sleep until 9:15!!! And then I went to my acting class, where we discussed aTennessee Williams play, The Glass Menagerie. We analyze it using Aristotle and Stanislovskis' approaches to action.

I'm now at work again, where I have to dust some book shelves... shelve books. Tonight I have to work from 6-9, and be in here with "ALLLLL" the people who come in. Right now there is a lady who is apparently taking pictures for the catalog for the MC or something... She just took a picture of the library with me in the foreground, which really disturbs me to some extent. At least I'm clothed somewhat normally and... Now she took some sort of close-up of me... umm... Who brought in the paparazzi... Seriously bothered:)

Account of Yesterday to Follow ...

Anyway, Becky's party was fun... I drew a monstrous donkey with multicolored sharpie pens, and we pinned a pre-curled ribbon clump on it. Out of the 20-some people who crammed into the study lounge, three people came quite close to winning pin-the-tail, if that's possible.

Then Devin and I complained about our miserable lives, as she studied for Zoology and I read Tennessee Williams...

Today there is a talk in one of the halls about Islam and Democracy which Of Course I can't go to, cos I have to work as usual. Like last week, when there was the open mic and tie-dying!!!!!!!!!

That's all for now...

SOOOOOOOOOORRY!!!

Well! I certainly hadn't expected to let everyone down!!! I haven't checked back here (as you know, and I've heard) for quite some time. Anyway, I'm busy at work in the Campus Library at the moment that I'm writing... Actually that means that I'm busy blogging at work... That's kind of sad... umm... ANYWAY. Today is my (new) friend Becky's 19th birthday and we're making her a cake and playing childish games and we got her a huge bee balloon because some people call her 'B'.

In other news, Christmas lights are twinkling in my dorm room and I have a really loud train outside my window at various absurd hours of the night. It's terrible. My roommate's dad brought us down two chairs/seats from a van they used to have and they're pretty nice leather with slight bucket qualities... one has a cup holder. These chairs are under Devin's (my roommate, yes female Devin) bed and the TV is under my bed. So we sit in the chairs and study (watch TV). Sometimes I even meditate (watch TV) ...

No, seriously, I don't watch a terrible amount of TV, seeing as how I work and go to class and sleep and talk to people. Considering this fact, however, I don't seem to get enough sleep.

There seem to be a great amount of raindrops outside the window right now. This indicates to me that instead of here, I should be somewhere with a book and a nice lamp. I am in actuality at the front desk of the library and I'm waiting to help people. There is an inordinant amount of flourescent lights and computers.

Well, anyway, my phone number can be obtained from either parent... (yes, I do give that duty to 'youse'.) cos I don't relish the thought of its being posted here.

Further updates as events warrant! (to quote my favorite comic, Calvin and Hobbes)
